The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is responsible for the collection and publication of many important pieces of data and information regarding child care within the Commonwealth. As the recipient of Virginia’s Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG), the VDOE works closely with key partners to meet federal planning and reporting requirements, as well as develop valuable resources and research reports for the field.
